I am a Senior AI Software Engineer based in ⛰Austin, TX 🌊.
In all my life I constantly found myself building software, creating websites, and automating tasks with tools like Zapier. My journey truly shifted when I began working at Leo AR, where I met some amazing software engineers, including Hakan. Their expertise inspired me to dive into software development myself, and soon enough, I earned my degree in Web Development.
My journey took a significant turn when I crossed paths with Sahin Boydas and his company, RemoteTeam. They were developing an HR SaaS product focused on international independent contractor agreements. They needed someone who not only understood software development but also had a firm grasp of legal compliance and could forge partnerships with international law firms. That’s where I came in. They hired me as a software developer, and I took on the challenge of building these partnerships, gathering local law information, and developing global hiring software that ensured compliance with local laws. On top of that, I created an AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Monitoring App, ensuring the platform complied with international money transfer regulations.
Our work at RemoteTeam was a great success, and the company was eventually acquired by Gusto. I transitioned to Gusto and continued building the same products, refining them to meet even greater standards.
But I wanted to explore AI. That’s when I reconnected with Hakan and joined CTO Lab, an AI venture studio. As a Senior AI Software Engineer, I led teams and contributed to the development of cutting-edge AI tools. I worked on exciting projects like AppManager, which gained recognition on Product Hunt, and LingoEdit, a powerful AI-driven translator and document editor. My focus was on building AI systems that made life easier for users, from automating IT management to optimizing performance with advanced machine learning techniques.
Now, I’m fully immersed in the world of AI, leveraging everything I’ve learned to create impactful, forward-thinking technology. My journey continues as I strive to push the boundaries of what’s possible, driven by the same passion for innovation that sparked my career from the start.
